| WebMove is an application under spiral development
by SSB, and is currently in use by the Department of State Office
of Logistics Management (A/LM). WebMove is a web-based tool
that allows a Department of State user to initiate a move request
via the Department's intranet. WebMove helps reduce the incidence
of problems associated with a move by introducing a one-stop
resource for starting the move process. The project is a rapid
development effort currently underway by SSB. It is working
to consolidate numerous division systems to share that information
through the WebMove system. The application will work as a broker
for information, sending it to the appropriate divisions as
required, a task currently handled manually by each individual
user and the support personnel in each division. Additionally,
WebMove comes with a web-enabled interface that allows users
to quickly and easily submit their move information and initiate
the next step in the move process. |

| SSB was tasked in
2001 to support the data management, data warehousing, data
migration, and data conversion activities on the Integrated
Logistics Management System (ILMS). ILMS involved the design
