October 2003 - SSB wins contract to provide Business Process Reengineering to Naval Security Group (NSG)!
 
SSB has been selected to provide Phase I Business Process Reengineering to the NSG. The NSG desires an evaluation of their current processes in the overall context of their mission with the goal of improving efficiency and effectiveness. Under this task, SSB will work with one of the 9 NSG departments and recommend options for reengineering within the framework of the Eagle Alliance Agreement at NSA. The Phase I effort is expected to be completed in FY04 with additional Phases dependent on the Phase I recommendations, approval by NSG and follow-on funding.
 
 
September 2003 - SSB expands their headquarters and signs 6-year extension!
 
SSB has completed negotiations to double their office space at their Fairfax headquarters and extend their lease for 6 additional years. Under the terms of the lease, SSB will add a conference and training facility with a capacity of over 60 with adjacent kitchenette, add 14 new corporate offices, an air conditioned fully integrated server facility, a fulfillment center and a new reception entrance. SSB’s presence at 3702 Pender Drive, Fairfax, VA is centrally located within the Metro area, just off Interstate 66 and halfway between Dulles International and Reagan National airports and enables a rapid response to meet all of their clients’ needs.
 
 
July 2003 - SSB wins CINC-21 Multimedia Project!
 
SSB has won a competitive contract with the Office of Naval Research (ONR) and the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) to develop a multimedia CD-ROM and provide the user and system administration documentation for the CINC-21 ACTD project. The CD-ROM will include details of how to use the proposed collaboration tools envisioned by the CINC-21 project and general information of the integrated tools enabling interaction between action officers, decision shapers and decision makers. The project is expected to run through the end of FY 04.
 
 
August 1, 2000 - SSB Releases Another Top Performing Training Site for Law Enforcement!
 
SSB the pioneer and leader in Internet training for specialized markets, today published ALERTS1.COM, a training services web site specially designed for law enforcement personnel. Spelled out, ALERTS1.COM provides an Academy of Law Enforcement Recurring Training Services. The "Services" include global and secure database access, a dynamic curriculum of over 40 courses available all the time, a selectable course format feature, online testing and immediate test results, a training management system for training coordinators and supervisors, and other web features such as discussion boards and law enforcement event calendars.
