SSB is looking for a J2EE Developer with at least four (4) years of professional experience as a programmer in the J2EE environment. This role requires you, the J2EE programmer, to participate in design sessions, code development and documentation. You will analyze, design, code, test and implement a Web-based solution using Java and various databases including Oracle. You will also propose alternative architecture approaches to business problems and articulate the considerations for such approaches in business and technical terms.
Areas of Responsibility:
Perform technical work using J2EE and other programming technologies as required.
Implement based on requirements specifications for applications.
Work closely with project manager to meet schedule.
SSB is seeking an enthusiastic and communicative team member with a positive attitude; and a dedication and willingness to work hard. You should have a high standard of English & mathematics. A portfolio of previous programming work, including links to relevant work online that is old and recent, would be appreciated.

| Extensive experience in server side web development. |
| Interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written), presentation skills, analytical and problem-solving abilities are an absolute must. |
| 4-8 years experience in the in software industry, a minimum 4 of which have been in Java/J2EE development. |
| 1-2 years experience in database driven java based web applications (Oracle database experience is ideal, but other major databases such as SQLServer is also acceptable), including database modeling. |
| Knowledge of Java/J2EE architecture (EJB, JSP, JDBC) and OOA/D . |
| You must be experienced at participating in Java/J2EE projects with a thorough understanding of design patterns and developmental frameworks. |
| Experience with testing methodologies, unit and integration testing is a plus along with knowledge of UML modeling. |
