SSB is looking for a Junior Programmer. The successful candidate for this entry-level position will be a self-starter with a good foundational understanding of web-based applications and some database knowledge. The candidate will work with senior level personnel in updating and maintaining multiple Internet-based applications. Web technologies that will be used include php, mysql, perl, Apache, etc in both Unix and Windows environments. The position will require upgrading existing code, writing new code as required, performing system upgrades, testing updates/enhancements, running data base queries and providing Tier 3 level support. Additional duties may include assisting with requirements definition, testing, and developing user-level procedures as necessary.
