SSB is seeking an enthusiastic, highly motivated web designer and graphics artist with web development experience. The candidate will be required to work closely with the other web developers and the client to create a user-friendly and effective web applications and sites. The candidate will be responsible for graphic design, site navigation, and content layout. Additionally, the candidate will be given the opportunity to also work with C#, MVC and SharePoint to create web applications. The ideal candidate will be experienced with Photoshop, Illustrator, C#, HTML, CSS, JavaScript and Silverlight using tools such as Visual Studio and Dreamweaver. The environment is in .Net, so any object-oriented experience is a bonus.
Areas of Responsibility:
- Create original design prototypes, including graphic design, site navigation, and layout of content.
- Ensure that the layout of the content is accessible and logical; recommend improvements if necessary.
- Create visual concepts that match the content and the image wanted by the clients.
- Build websites using technologies that conform to appropriate 508 and Government standards.

| Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience |
