SSB is looking for a Windows Administrator who is proficient in administering Microsoft Windows environments including SharePoint Farms. The position will require experience installing MOSS via a Farm as well as configuration of SSL, Domains, SSO and experience with CAC integration via SharePoint. The ideal candidate will have excellent organization, communication and writing skills, and have the ability to express themselves in technical discussion via strategy, implementation and design of MOSS environments. Additionally, the candidate should have experience and be skilled at customer interaction and have an understanding of iterative and SDLC methodologies. Active Directory and Network Design experience is a bonus.
Areas of Responsibility:
- Primarily responsible for the installation, performance, support and maintenance of all SharePoint and .Net based Enterprise Level Applications.
- Makes technical recommendations in the area of performance improvements and availability such as redundancy architecture and load balancing.
- Manages all aspects of software updates and patch implementations including regression testing, systems and UAT.
- Manages all updates, patches, bug fixes, and other deployments to the applications and the MOSS Farm.
- Implements all aspects of security for the applications and understands evolving business needs and makes recommendations for improvement.
- Studies industry trends, vendor products and roadmaps and evaluates and makes recommendations based on best practices which align with RI.s strategic plan.
- Works to ensure established Service Level Agreements in areas of responsibility are met.
- Must provide complete and proper entry of resolutions into the help desk system and/or documentation for governance of SharePoint MOSS.

| Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience |
| Must have experience in the installation, setup and troubleshooting on MOSS 2007 Farm, WSS, .Net and other SharePoint technologies.
|
| Knowledge of load-balancing technologies and other up-time technologies. |
| Experience with development and deployment of web parts desirable and would be beneficial. |
| Experience in MOSS SSP, search configuration, Infopath forms. |
| Experience in building Sharepoint Portals, Team Sites and setting up workflows for developers.
|
| Solid understanding of the MOSS security model.
|
| Knowledge of C# and web services programming skills would be a plus.
|
| Must have comprehensive knowledge of LAN/WAN topologies.
